This is a 6 deck BlackJack Card game. Each deck contains 52 cards.
The basics
The object of the blackjack game is to accumulate cards with point totals as close to 21 without going over 21. Face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are worth 10 points. Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is preferable. Other cards are represented by their number.
Playing blackjack
All the decks of cards are used and are shuffled together by the dealer and placed in a card dispensing box called Shoe . Before receiving any cards, the player must place a wager. Then dealer gets one face up, one face down. If the dealer has ACE as face-up card, the player can take insurance and if the dealer has blackjack, the game will end without the possibility of a push (if the player would have blackjack as well). If the dealer has 10/J/Q/K as face-up card, the player cannot take insurance and if the dealer has blackjack, the game will end without the possibility of a push (if the player would have blackjack as well).
If the dealer had no blackjack, then the player is dealt two cards face up. The player can stay or take more cards to try and get closer to 21 without busting. If the player did not bust, then the player can wait for the dealer's turn. When the player is done, the dealer turns up the down card. By rule, on counts of SOFT 17 or higher the dealer must stay; on counts of 16 or lower the dealer must draw.
If the player makes a total of 21 with the first two cards (a 10 or a face and an Ace), the player wins automatically. This is called Natural Blackjack . If the player has Natural Blackjack, his bet pays 6:5 and the game will end.
If the dealer has Natural Blackjack and the player does not have Natural Blackjack, then the player will lose the bet and the player cannot perform any action: hit/stand/double/split, and the game will end.
If the player does not have Natural Blackjack and he has a higher count than the dealer (including when he does 21 with more than 2 cards), he wins an amount equal to his bet (1:1). If the player does not have Natural Blackjack and has a lower count than the dealer he lose his bet. If the dealer busts, the player wins an amount equal to his bet (1:1).
There are other betting options namely Insurance, Double Down, Split, Surrender.Insurance: side bet equal to half of the initial bet against the dealer having a natural 21 - allowed only when the dealer s showing card is an Ace. If the dealer has a 10 value face down card and makes a Natural blackjack, insurance pays at 2:1 odds, but loses if the dealer does not. Double Down: allows you to double your bet in the middle of a hand in exchange for receiving just one card. It's a risky gamble, as it usually ends your betting – you can't hit again even if you receive a particularly low second card. Split Hand: split any two-card hand into two and play them separately - allowed only when the two first cards are of equal value (EG: 2 of Spades 2 of Hearts or King of Hearts King of Diamonds or Jacks of Hearts Queen of Spades). Use each card as the start to a separate hand and place a second bet equal to the first. 21 after Split is not considered Natural Blackjack. Hard Hand: A hand without an Ace, or with an Ace valued at 1 is said to be Hard in that it can only be given one value, unlike a Soft Hand. (You can value an Ace 1 or 11 to suit you). Soft Hand: A hand that contains an Ace counted as 11 is called a Soft Hand.
Surrender: the player can choose to surrender after the dealer checked for blackjack (if dealer had ACE or face-card). Upon surrendering, the player will receive back 50% of his bet and the game will end. The player cannot surrender if he already split any of his hands or if he doubled.
